Dr. Perello was born and raised in the Washington Heights area of New York and has over 30 years of experience as a pediatrician. He received his medical degree at the Universidad Autónoma in Santo Domingo. He completed his pediatrics residency in 1991 with the New York Medical College program at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx. He went on to do a Fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatrics at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Upon completion, he was a Clinical Instructor for the Columbia University Department of Pediatric and Attending Physician at its Ambulatory Care Network Clinics (ACNC). Dr. Perello then moved to Miami, Florida where he practiced pediatrics for the next 16 years. There, he was part of the voluntary teaching Faculty for the University of Miami Department of Pediatrics. In 2011, he moved back to New York City to further his education. In May 2012, he received a Master's Degree in Public Health from The Mailman School at Columbia University. Since 2012 he has been the Medical Director of Pediatrics 2000. Dr. Perello has a keen interest in asthma and allergic diseases.  Outside of his practice, he enjoys traveling, historty, architecture and cooking.

 

 Dr. Perello is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified  by the American Board of Pediatrics.
